Remember, the gameplay in Battlefield games is fundamentally different than MW2. Dice illustrates this in their trailers for the game. Some strategy is required, not deathmatch tactics..

I know I know, ..."play BF2 on the 360 then if you like BF2 so much"... Brothers, I would if I still had a 360. it died for the 3rd time wah wah. I'm now happily gaming on a PS3. Just sayn, that in an attempt to make a new game new, and original to an extent, they eliminated some key elements that made BF2 so friggin fun. Like GTA-style fun.

.. your parent's house is a cave with no windows. The "Conquest" mode you speak of has been an integral part of Battlefield games from the beginning..
The EA guy in the interview revealed that there will be 4 game modes "at launch"! That sounds like more to follow after launch?? And when HHG pressed him on co-op mode, the guy had that big "YES" smile, even though he declined to comment.
BC2 is really shaping up to eclipse BC1 in every way.. I'm so looking forward to this game.

MW2 - for campaign. The COD4 story was epic. Multiplayer was another twichy halo shooter..
BC2 - for multiplayer. The end. BC story was ok as a warmup for multiplayer. Maybe this time Dice wil step up the storymode as well, we'll see.
